Seiryu is one of the supporting characters of the Shōnen Onmyōji. He is one of the Twelve Shinshou who sees Guren as a traitor and has always treated him in a hostile manner. He views Seimei as his only "master".

He is stubborn, has a bad temper, and is anti-social. He refuses to accept Masahiro as Seimei’s successor and believes Masahiro is unworthy of it. He cares more about Seimei’s wellbeing than the others, but his care usually comes out in the form of anger.
